Kat Stoutenborough is a self-taught fiber artist and bag designer. She started several years ago making holiday gifts for family and friends. Soon after, she was fielding requests to create items for sale as well as commissions for custom pieces. She primarily uses recycled, felted sweaters, wool roving, re-purposed fabrics and other odd bits of flotsam and jetsam. Although she appreciates the new-fangled advantages of an electric sewing machine, she can often be found sewing by hand with a blissful, contented countenance.
